Customer Spotlight: Leah Ingram Artist
At ComputerFood, every order means something, whether it’s a small business printing fliers or someone printing school projects at home. Customer Spotlights provide us a way to connect to our customers and highlight the people behind the purchases and how our products and support make a difference.
In a first in the spotlight series is Leah Ingram an inspiring artist based in Waimakariri.

"Creating is a great place of healing for me and has become an even more intrinsic part of who I am; I know having art to colour your world can be just as healing - this is why I create.
"I have always loved art and had a wild imagination but it wasn’t until 2021, when on maternity leave with my son, that I truly went back to art. Life can get so busy sometimes, it was wonderful to be reminded to do something truly for me and from this I have created my own little empire of art. If you had told me back in 2021 that I would have my own art business, I would have laughed awkwardly and shook my head. Still to this day I have to pinch myself… I am doing what I love, sharing it with an amazingly supportive community and showing my boy that dreams can come true - you just have to knuckle down, work your butt off and look to the future."
"ComputerFood have always been my go to for ink and paper supplies (I make my own greeting cards at my home studio) and having somewhere that is reasonably priced (now I have done what any small business would do and scoured the internet for the best possible deal), it makes all the difference for my business. Add in the treats and them somehow knowing to pop in my favourite flavoured Macintosh (Egg and Cream), I was thoroughly sold on this NZ business"
In 2024, we were honoured to support Leah with a special deal to help her achieve her 2025 goal, a brand new Epson EcoTank printer. Just a few months later, it was delivered to her door. Leah recorded the unboxing on her tiktok: @leahingramartist
"I would a thousand times recommend ComputerFood, they are one of those gem businesses that once found, you always go back to!"
We’re thrilled to be part of Leah’s creative journey and absolutely love the greeting cards produced with our papers. We can’t wait to see what she brings to life next.
