The durable alternative to sew-on name tags, DYMO LT Iron-On Fabric Labels make it easy to create long-lasting, machine-washable identification for clothing, towels, and backpacks. Designed for convenience and reliability, these labels bond quickly with heat, offering a faster and more consistent solution than traditional sewing.

This version features black text on white tape, 12mm wide and 2m in length.
Compatible with Dymo Label Printers that support LetraTag (LT) tapes.

Applying Your Iron-On Labels

For best results, apply to smooth fabrics such as cotton, linen, or cotton/polyester blends. These labels are not recommended for delicate or heat-sensitive materials such as silk, wool, or 100% polyester.

Because iron temperatures can vary, it is strongly recommended to test a sample label on a similar fabric before final application. This helps ensure the best adhesion without damaging the garment.

To apply, print your label using your LetraTag machine and remove the backing. Prepare the garment by ironing the application area to remove wrinkles, then position the label where required. Cover with a clean cotton cloth and press firmly with a medium-high iron for around 10 seconds without moving it. Repeat this process several times, paying extra attention to the edges, allowing the label to cool slightly between applications for maximum adhesion.

Fabric Compatibility

These iron-on labels are designed for everyday fabrics and perform best on smooth, natural or blended textiles.

They are suitable for cotton, linen, and cotton/polyester blends, but are not recommended for textured fabrics, water-resistant materials, or heat-sensitive garments. Avoid use on wool, silk, or heavily synthetic fabrics where adhesion may be reduced or fabric damage may occur.

Washing and Care

Once properly applied, labels are designed to withstand regular washing and everyday wear. For best results, wash garments below 60°C using mild detergent where possible.

Avoid prolonged exposure to bleach, as this may cause fading or discolouration of the label over time.

Removing the Label

If a label needs to be removed, it can be softened using heat. Apply a medium-high iron directly over the label for approximately 10 seconds, then gently lift a corner using tweezers and peel slowly away from the fabric.

If the label cools during removal, simply reapply heat and continue. Take care during this process, as both the fabric and iron will be hot.

This means on most occasions you will receive the goods within 24 - 36 working hours to most parts of the country provided the order has been received prior to 2.30 p.m.

Note though in some cases an extra day is needed for delivery to the South Island / Economy service and an extra 1-2 days is needed for Rural Delivery.

We cannot ship on Public Holidays or Auckland Anniversary.

We prefer to deliver to a physical address although we can deliver small items to P.O. Boxes if required. If there are any delays, we will contact you by email.

Delivery Errors or Non Delivery

The Customer will promptly check for correctness in deliveries made by ComputerFood and will advise ComputerFood of any short shipments, mispicks, damage or incorrect deliveries within 14 days of receipt of goods by the Customer. Any non delivery claims must be made within 14 days of invoice date.

Where ComputerFood is satisfied, after carrying out its own investigation, that there has been a short delivery or error in dispatch of any goods, in each case due to the fault of ComputerFood, they will at its discretion provide for such shortage or incorrect delivery either replacement goods (if it is practicable to do so) or a credit against future orders.

Product Returns

An order can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Items must be as new, in original condition with no markings on the packaging in order to be returned.

Unopened products refer to the original packaging being untampered
and not opened such as tape removed, or packaging opened, unsealed or
markings on the product. 

For any returns or credit claims after this time, please contact ComputerFood as a return authorisation is required on all items returned beyond the 14-day money back period.

Return Value

In most cases ComputerFood will provide a full refund for any product that is returned unopened and in original condition less a small restocking fee. 

Any refunds will be made back to the means of purchase, for example a credit card.

Damaged, used, or opened products will not be exchanged, credited or refunded.

The sale of Open Box or Damaged Box products does not change our policy on customer opened returns. Opened items returned by customers are not eligible for credit or exchange.

Unless otherwise stated, all products have a warranty of 12 months from Purchase date.
